Who is Marisa the Realtor?

Hey, Hey! My name is Marisa Torres, I am a Houston Realtor born and raised in the inner loop of Houston. I've been in real estate for more than a year now, but it has always peaked my interest. Before I joined real estate, I was an operations assistant in the oil and gas inspection industry, so I am very acquainted with the fast paced work life! Now, I can't imagine ever going back because I fell in love with real estate. From the people I get to meet to driving all over Houston, I wouldn't trade it for any other career (even if I do have to pack a lunch and eat in my car because i'm zipping from downtown Houston to Katy to Spring and back to downtown haha)!

Outside of my career as a real estate agent I am a wife and a soon to be mother to a baby girl. I guess you could say I have three main hobbies... eating, traveling, and shopping (Amazon is my favorite, of course)! I love trying new places to eat around Houston, which allows me to make great recommendations for out of towners and Houstonians in general. My favorite types of food are Mexican and Italian, but I also LOVE junk food like elote and banana splits...yummm!

Traveling is one of my biggest hobbies and something my husband and I love to do together. You can catch us doing activities like hiking the mountains of Zion National Park, white water rafting in Costa Rica, or swinging 100 meters above the city of Amsterdam! We are especially looking forward to the newest adventure of bringing our baby girl along with us.
